About the Event

Due to Coronavirus restrictions I am currently limiting numbers to 6 participants. It may be possible to alter this at a later date.

Cost: £180 per person (members £120) accommodation in Braemar not included.

We plan to traverse the Cairngorm plateau over 2 days reaching 4 of the UK's 5 highest summits. The walk will be guided throughout by an qualified mountain leader. The mountain walk will start from Linn of Dee, with the first 8 km being on bicycle (bring your own, or we can arrange to hire one for you), then traverse the Western Cairngorm plateau on day 1. The day will finish at a provisioned campsite (you will not have to carry your own tent or food). Day 2 will access the Eastern Cairngorm plateau by way of the Fiachaill Ridge scramble route (grade 2 scramble), onto Beinn MacDuibh before returning to the bicycles.

Accommodation will be arranged for the Friday and Sunday night in Braemar.

Additional optional walking days can be added to the schedule from Monday onwards if desired.
