Stuart has over 20 years experience of leading expeditions on foot and in canoes, as well as leading mountain biking trips.

He is an expert in expeditions in the Scottish Highlands.

Frances Dathan
Mountain Leader, Mountainbike Guide

Frances has been leading mountaineering expeditions across the UK for over 10 years. She has expertise in training groups in navigation and campcraft. She has a wide experience as an outdoors woman in mountain biking, fell running and canoeing.

Frances' qualifications are:

Nicola Carter
Mountain Leader, Climbing Instructor

Nicola enjoys slow and mindful journeys across landscapes. Her favourite place to spend time is the Lake District. She loves sharing her knowledge of place, the natural world and local folklore with others.

 

Nicola's qualifications are:

Summer Mountain Leader (SML), Mountain Training

Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI, CWI with Abseil module), Mountain Training

Zoltan Monostori
Mountain Leader, Climbing Instructor, Fell running Guide

Zoltan has been working as a climbing instructor since 2011, and is also a mountain leader. He has a passion for being in the outdoors - walking, climbing or running, or even better: all three together.

Zoltan's qualifications are:

Summer Mountain Leader, Mountain Training

Rock Climbing Instructor, (CWA, CWLA and RCI), Mountain Training

Running Instructor, Running Fitness Instructor, British Athletics

Claire Wickham
Hill and Moorland Walk Leader

Claire is a qualified Hill and Moorland walk leader who has been leading and teaching groups in various capacities for over 20 years. She has previously worked as a PE teacher in Kenya and as a windsurfing instructor. She also recently took a gap year sailing around the Mediterranean with her husband and young son. They are now all based in Kendal. She loves finding new walking routes, outdoor swimming and picnics.
