Following specific Government guidance, and until further notice, all courses will be restricted to:
6 individuals, or
2 households, or
1 household and 5 other individuals

From 2020 the Expedition Club will be offering guided Shinrin-Yoku and similar meditative activities in the English Lake District.


These guided trips aiming to connect with nature and discover wilderness, will be planned in various woodland locations. Trips will be of 3 hours duration and will all cost £25/head.

Under 16s are welcome to join (at £20/head) if they can participate in a quiet, meditative journey.


They will be led by highly experienced Forest Bathing practitioners, following the principals set out by Dr Qing Li.

We are currently offering the following trips under this heading:

Bare-foot Forest Walking

We will also be offering guided Shinrin-Yoku trips in Winter between 26th December 2020 and 5th January 2021.

These guided trips are designed to enable you to continue to practice meditative wilderness expeditions on your own.
